About Me-Ginger!

We recently relocated to Northern California from our long time home in the mountains of North Carolina. My most important roles are as a mother and wife.  I run a home-based business as a fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle practitioner where I work with individuals to meet their goals.  

Throughout my younger years I was always athletic,I played many sports, but found my niche in ballet and had a passion for all forms of dance and movement. So much so, that I earned a BS in Dance from Lees McRae College.  I then obtained my American College of Sports Medicine Health and Fitness certification, and nearly a decade ago,  began training clients in their home gyms between classes while attending Appalachian State University.  For many years before, during, and after this I experienced some extreme shifts in my health.  These shifts were so extreme that I was sometimes bedridden, had countless medical procedures, several hospitalized hospitalizations, and was on a never ending list of prescription medications. Through intuition and my formal education,  I knew these things just didn't add up to the symptoms I was experiencing!  I felt that I was meeting dead ends with my conventional treatment and began to search for true healing of my illness.  In this journey I read a book about the ancient practice of Ayurveda.  I began practicing many of the techniques offered in this book, following several of the dietary and supplemental recommendations, and within weeks began feeling better.  This was the beginning of my personal holistic journey! Even today,  I am constantly learning and trying new things with my diet and lifestyle.  Using food and exercise as medicine, I am happy to say that I have been able to regain my health and feel better now than I ever imagined!

It was those life experiences and the empowering ability to control my health that led me to my career in health and fitness.  My goal is for every one of my clients to be the best version of their "self", in every aspect of their lives.  I desire for every client to feel as good as possible by guiding them through how to use food and exercise as their medicine, creating "wholeness through intelligent movement and natural means"! 

While still keeping the high level of service that my clients are accustomed to, I now have a program that allows for me to keep them motivated and able to continue our progress, from a distance, throughout the entire year! 

My History

I have had a passion for movement and nutrition for as long as I remember!  Constantly involved in athletics of all types and curious about how making modifications in lifestyle and nutrition could enhance or hinder my performance, inspired my future endeavors and education.   Personal experience and education have allowed me to develop the skills and knowledge to guide and motivate clients to achieve their personal goals and live the lives they love.

 With over a decade of experience as a health and fitness professional, reversing autoimmune disease, motherhood, and my continuous quest for health and healing; I deliver individualized results to each and every client. I have made a name for myself through my training and nutrition and lifestyle results, as well as my teaching ability. I have had the pleasure of working with individuals in all walks of life, from housewives to WWII veterans, teachers to fortune 500 CEO's. I communicate and motivate exceptionally well, and have the skills and the knowledge to help anyone improve their health.

I pride myself in helping others take control of their lives in a healthy and encouraging way.   I enjoy assisting my clients on their journey to correct, heal, and strengthen themselves so that they can live the lives they've always wanted to live!
